Magical tours of London for young butterfly minds

Our tours of London for children and the young at heart are packed with games, activities and competitions designed to keep butterfly minds active and on the move. Ideal for family groups or birthday parties, our children's tours include beautifully illustrated tour materials, souvenir postcards and great prizes.

We explore on foot and by public transport, with the occasional taxi in between. We're happy to tailor your tour to include visits to specific attractions. And if you would like to end your tour at a cafe or restaurant, just let us know and we'll make some suggestions.

A Royal Adventure

Discover kings, queens and mythical beasts as we go exploring in the heart of London. You'll experience the Changing of the Guard, see many of London's most famous places, and there are games and prizes for the eagle-eyed along the way too.

Heroes & Villains

Find out about the movers and shakers who made London's history, from a warrior queen and a cavalier king, to the man who banned Christmas and the women who rocked the world to win the vote. Were they heroes or villains? You decide.

City Scavenger Hunt

Meet a golden dragon and a swashbuckling sailor, find a Roman amphitheatre and discover a miniature art gallery right under your feet on our action-packed adventure through the City of London.

British Museum Time Travel Adventure

Travel back in time and across continents to meet Greek gods, ancient Egyptian pharaohs, Assyrian kings and fierce Viking warriors at the British Museum. What will you put into your time capsule?

Art Attack

Fire your imagination on our tour of the National Gallery. You'll hear tales of knights and dragons, see paintings of gods and kings, and find Alice in Wonderland, a mud pie and a dancing seahorse waiting for you at the end of your visit.

Our museum and gallery tours for children last 2 hours.  Our other tours can be scheduled for a half day (3 to 4 hours) or a full day (6 to 7 hours), as needed.

All tours include the services of a specialist guide, illustrated tour materials and memorable prizes. Tours exclude entrance fees, transport costs and refreshments.

Important information for our children's tours

We like to keep groups small and manageable. Although we are happy to accommodate larger groups, we find that groups of 4 to 8 children plus accompanying adults work best.

For all children's tours we ask that 1 nominated adult takes responsibility for every 4 children. We will ask you to provide the names of the accompanying adults when you confirm your booking. Please note that we don't run tours for children who are unaccompanied.

Our children's tour materials have been beautifully designed by illustrator Amanda Perkins. Find out more about her illustrations, cards and prints available for purchase at
