Terms and conditions for public tours
The following Terms and Conditions apply to public tours run by City Treasures. Please read them carefully and be sure that you understand them before making your booking through this site. By making your booking you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
Meeting point
1. Please check that you know where the meeting point is for the start of the tour and arrive in good time. If you think you may be late, please let us know by calling 07725 650815 or emailing tours@citytreasures.london and we will do our best to find a way for you to join us. However, please note that once a tour has started it may not be possible to get in touch with the guide. You will find meeting point details and a contact telephone number provided on your booking confirmation.
Cancellation
2. We do not offer refunds due to lateness, delays or no-shows on the day.
3. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy for public tours. If you wish to cancel your booking, please email tours@citytreasures.london more than 48 hours before the start time of the tour, with your booking reference, name and the date of your tour and you will receive a full refund of the cost of the tour. This does not include any fees charged by your card handler or any online payment fees that have been incurred.
4. Tours will be cancelled in cases where taking the tour would be dangerous or events are beyond our control, for example, riot, flood, fire or other major disaster. In this case a full refund will be provided or we will offer you a tour on an alternative date.
5. City Treasures also reserves the right to cancel a tour in extenuating circumstances and if this is the case, we will provide a full refund.
6. Walking tours are subject to weather conditions, like rain and snow. Our policy is for tours to go ahead, whatever the weather, so please make sure that you are dressed for the season. We do not offer refunds if you decide not to attend because of the weather.
Data policy
7. We will never sell or pass your details on to another organisation or agency.
8. We will use the data you give us when you make your booking to let you know about our programme of public tours and other City Treasures events. Please email us at tours@citytreasures.london if you do not want to receive this information.
Health and safety
9. You and your guests are entirely responsible your own safety at all times during a City Treasures tour and participate at your own risk.
